In their latest collaboration with the Royal Australian Air Force, after being the watch of the RAAF centenary in 2021, Australian luxury watch brand Bausele has pulled out all the stops.
The timepiece is based on their legendary Ocean Moon model and comes complete with a blue sunray dial and two crowns to control both the hands and the inner bi-directional bezel of the watch. With a limited run of only 200 pieces, this is a Swiss-made watch like only Bausele could make.

Christophe Hoppe, founder of Australia’s luxury watch brand Bausele, is a firm supporter of the men and women who keep the public safe. Now, Hoppe turns his attention closer to home in support of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF).

This is not the first collaboration Bausele has done with the RAAF and it will not be the last. This limited edition timepiece is similar to the fan-favorite Ocean Moon V but with a bit of added exclusivity and flair.

For this limited edition Royal Australian release, Bausele utilizes the durable Sellita SW200 Swiss automatic movement. To further increase durability to handle whatever your active your lifestyle throws at it, Bausele utilizes a Faraday cage shock system and anti-magnetic construction within the timepiece. A versatile 42mm width makes this the perfect watch for most any wrist. Like its Ocean Moon cousin, the Royal Australian timepiece features 2 screw-down crowns – the second of which controls an inner bi-directional count-up bezel for diving.

The features of the watch are complimented by a gorgeous blue sunray-style sandwich dial. The large hands, indices, and digits are outfitted with Super-Luminova to allow for timekeeping even at night. Both the dial and the case back are adorned with the Royal Australian Air Force name and kangaroo logo. To complete the timepiece, Bausele utilizes a unique band that uses high-performance recycled PET plastic to resemble the texture of sand on the beach. Reinforced and designed to last, the band solidifies the aesthetic of the watch.
